New Format Announced
Limited walk-ins are welcome at the preliminaries
Karaoke has found the Emerald City. Oz Idol – a fun and fantastic event for this year’s Wizard of Oz Festival has a new format – it’s KARAOKE and is opened to all ages!
Our Karaoke Wizard, Billy Shinabarger, has a vast assortment of song selections that will appeal to all.
Preliminaries: September 5th 1-pm, Thomas Centennial Bandstand
September 10th 7pm, Leroy's Hot Stuff (333 W Hwy 20, Porter)
You may only enter for one preliminary
Semi-Finals: September 19th 3-5pm Thomas Centennial Bandstand
Top 10 from preliminaries will compete with 5 advancing to the finals
Finals: September 20th 1-3pm Thomas Centennial Bandstand
Winner announced at 4pm (Festival’s Finale)
Top 3 Finalists will win prizes. See rule sheet for prize information.
